While they're all equally valid approaches they don't really address the basic concern, which is that ISO8601 is a pervasive date/time format and as such it would be ideal if Freemarker had first class support for it, rather than requiring the template developer to do something to be able to use it (regardless of what that "something" is).
I realise this is syntactic sugar, but that precedent...

Rather than having to hard code the ISO8601 format string throughout my templates, it would be nicer if Freemarker provided a builtin for outputting dates in ISO8601 format. It might be called "?iso" for example.

The input text should be cleared and the alternatives dropdown hidden as soon as an application is launched. The current behaviour (both the text and alternatives list remain visible until manually cleared) has poor usability and is a regression from 1.x.

I partially got around this problem using http://www.savardsoftware.com/launchontop/. While Launch will then stay on top of other applications, it won't consistently stay on top of the Windows Vista task bar (which happens to be where I want it to be).

According to http://loytty.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!D38B786E8EA7A572!781.entry, one workaround is to ensure that the SpamBayes installation folder (eg. C:\Program Files\SpamBayes) is fully writable to everyone (which on Vista won't be the case - C:\Program Files\ and children are protected). Haven't tried it myself yet, so YMMV.
