libgpod doesn't update the iTunesStats file which the ipod shuffle uses to store playcounts. It reads this file correctly when opening the database (adding the playcounts to the ones in the full iTunesDB file). However when writing the updated database the updated playcount is written to the iTunesDB file but the count in the iTunesStats file is never reset. So the effect is that every time the...
