  • Followup: RE: Game Pad Support

Ok, pad function is removed. Besides, since openTZT supports MIDI you can control virtually everthing with any type of MIDI controller. plexus ...

  • Game Pad Support

Hi, openTZT supports the use of a game pad to control a few functions (mostly preset loading). It's poorly and incomplete implemented and not configurable, therefore I would outsource this function if nobody complains. (It was never documented, so I assume nobody uses it) plexus ...

  • Scene Changer Function

Hi, I just noticed that there are different ways to change the play layer and changing the edit layer at the same time. 1st, the known modes: "Space" and "Esc" which just change the play layer with a hard cut, leaving the edit layer untouched. 2nd, the blend modes "M , . /" which - as the name implies - blend over from the current layer to the other, at the same time the edit layer is...

  • Flash support

Hi, the current flash support is provided by an fairly old quicktime library. Probably it's age causes most of the disabilities associated with flash playback. Even though I looked hard to find a good library or API for flash support, it seems that almost everyone is trying to generate flash files rather than playing it. :( I found swfdec and gnash which look quite promising, but not...

  • Followup: RE: First test build uploaded

Please don't complain that the image loading feature doesn't work in this version. I found and fixed that bug already. I also noticed that openTZT "flickers" from time to time, like it stops for a split second, redraws its complete main window and continues working. I don't really know what causes this and I hope it's just my system, but it happens on two different systems, so I'm afraid it's...

  • Followup: RE: openTZT Helper Tools

I still want to do that, but that requires a huge change of the GUI system. I already started that new GUI-Engine some time ago, but it's not ready yet. And if I start now to implement this into the current version it will push the release date for the cleaned openTZT farther away. So I think it's better to make a quick and not-so-dirty config tool now and get some room to finish the new...

  • openTZT Helper Tools

Hi, since the existing tools (TZTManager, vcpWriter) doesn't work well or not at all because of the use of unusual or obsolete libraries, I would recommend to make a new one which integrates both of them. Why not fix the existing code? Well, the TZTManager is written in Visual Basic which I don't consider a programming language. (I wrote a lot of code in VB.NET and it was always annoying)
