sounds exciting, though I don't quite get the point of having both nodes and gird servers dispatch work to the gird. maybe I missed something, but wouldn't it be nice to have something like an IRC network architecture: each node connected to a gird server (GS), and GSs connected altogether in a spanning tree ?
a node would then submit tasks to its parent GS...
