• APT issue

Hi, I manage the KnockKnock project, when I initially set it up, I contacted the admin for winportknocking who said he had stopped developing the project some time ago and he was happy for it to become obsolete. With this in mind, is it possible to set up a redirect from that project site to mine, or to put a link there or something? The thing is, in Google "Windows Port Knocking" has...

  • KnockSequenceManager + improved Main

KnockSequenceManager is used to store knock sequences in a file and read them from a file - currently just stores the vector. Sequence is still hardcoded at this point - GUI will provide editing facilities. Main: improved the way it gets the local IP address, including ignoring local addresses starting with a zero - which I've been having a problem with since installing a webcam -...

  • Project rename request

Hi I'd like to change the unix name of my project (knock-knock) for two reasons. One because it doesn't match the name I've subsequently chosen for the project (KnockKnock) so there's an inconsistency if people try and search by the project name, and two because on the Help Wanted forum, the url to the project generated by the forum is cutting it off at the hypen and making a link to...

Update: automatic link didn't work, it should be: http://sourceforge.net/projects/knock-knock/ -Phil.

  • Visual C++ GUI Developer wanted - small proj.

I've started KnockKnock - a Windows implementation of Port Knocking: http://sourceforge.net/projects/knock-knock/ Currently the client program, which is developed in Visual C++ 6.0, is a console app, but it'd be much better if it was a GUI application (MFC?) Check out the project page for details - this is the only active Windows implementation of this technology on Sourceforge.

  • Followup: RE: How to find total number of rows returned

If you have access to the SQL, you can run a COUNT command before the actual command to get the number of rows it will return, it's something like this: SELECT COUNT columnName FROM tableName WHERE x=y.
