Hi Malcolm, 1. If I recall correctly, I think the problem is that you must configure maven to run only the TestSuite. Unfortunately, jLibrary tests are configured to be run sequentially. So when maven tries to run the tests it just runs them indiscretionally, which inevitably will fail. If you don't want to mess around with maven, a quick and dirty approach is just go to Eclipse and manually...

  • Followup: RE: What is future of JLibrary?

Hi Malcolm, Sorry for the late response. Basically Blandware has been helping to release jLibrary 1.2 with important enhancements, something I could not do myself due to lack of time. Since then, I didn´t have more news from them so I imagine they have moved to different things. They basically own half of the product which in reality means they are also a jLibrary admin. There shouldn´t be...

  • Followup: RE: What is future of JLibrary?

Hi Malcolm, To be fair, jLibrary is right now a stale project. I have no time to maintain it and I would say Blandware has no interest on doing it. So there is not much we could do. I would welcome you with open hands into the project if you want to keep pushing it ahead. I still think the project idea is good and valid, is just that I do not have enough time to sustain it. Cheers...

  • Followup: RE: login failure - session is now closed (v1.2)

Hi Malcolm, I cannot help much I am afraid, as I have not touched jLibrary in more than a year now. I think the problem must be related with being playing with the system repository. To be honest I would debug to check what is going on there. Rules for the system repository are different than from other repositories. I would check the JCR Security Service class...

  • Followup: RE: Migrating from Jlibrary server v1.1 to v1.2?

Hi. No, there is no API changes. There is a list of all the changes in the post on TheServerSide (http://www.theserverside.com/news/thread.tss?thread_id=50192). Cheers, Martin.

Hi. I am wondering if you have modified the text extractors. With Jackrabbit 1.4 they changed the class names and therefore if you keep the 1.1 filter names they will not be found. Extractors should come in the jlibrary 1.2 war but you need to match the names. Cheers, Martin.

Hi Habib, No there is no way. Only using the XPath expressions but I am afraid there is no guide for that and you would need to look at the source code :(.

  • Followup: RE: access server :NoSuchWorkspaceException

Good to know guoyuanli. Not sure about the import error myself :S It might be a problem with permissions. But it does not make much sense. It is probably a bug. I wonder if adding the administrator as a reader of every imported document could fix this issue but as I said, I imagine it is a bug. Not sure about the upload error. It might be the size of the document because by default the...

Can you browse the repository without logging in? If you give read permissions to the guest user you should not have any problem. By default the jLibrary server works without further problems (at least the version from a couple of months ago) so this makes me believe you can be working with an older version. Replacing the war file with the most recent one could help there.

Hi Vlad, This article (http://www.jlibrary.org/repositories/jLibrary/Articles/Using%20External%20Security%20Systems.html) shows some information about how to integrate with external security systems. I added also to the docs an old article (which was lost in the transition to the new website) that also shows how to configure a new login module in jLibrary...
