I have a _config.xml file that works perfectly when I use Open Configuration and then create XML, but if I just do New, it doesn't show in the list of available configurations. The file is in the config directory. Any clues what I might be doing wrong?

.. just checked again and played a bit. If I put the '-Dvirtext value' after a --build option, it fails saying it can't find the .mpi file (but with the -D bits included). If I put the -D options before --build it works fine. I guess something to do with the changed logic for commandline parsing.

It pops up a dialog with the allowable commandline actions and doesn't appear to run.

Calling IJ from the commandline with '-Dvirtext value' no longer works in 1.2 (did in 1.2b). Has something changed?

Feedback from a Japanese user:
Actually we cannot use the .exe installer of normal
Alfresco directly because of the name of current
directory. If the location of the installer file
includes Japanese characters such as Desktop, it gives
us error popup.
So this time I guessed WCM's error also came by the
same reason. I moved it to C:\ and re-ran it. But it
gave me the same error message.

It's ok now - it's more a question of whether there's
anything we can do to make sure mirroring happens quicker.
For every release, it takes between 1-3 days before people
can download. It just means we get pressure to make stuff
available through somewhere other than SF. We've got a
couple of releases coming up and I'm expecting the same delays.

It appears to create a shortcut file with filetype .lnk3 -
playing around, another time it was .link?3, where the ? was
a non-printable char. I removed all the variable
substitutions in the shortcut name and shortened it - and
everything is fine now. This is on WinXP. Sounds like a
string overrunning it's expected length somewhere.

I have an install that used the default Install Windows
Shortcut for the main program - the target file is
(a .bat file). It used to work
fine with 1.0.2, but with 1.0.3 (and I suspect the link
behaviour I asked for), it doesn't create the correct
type of shortcut. Putting the executable explicitly
with /my.bat makes no difference. Other
shortcut...
