Alpha 11 contains a continuation of the control repainting work started in Alpha 10. The code is now much cleaner and becoming easier to work with for fixing painting problems. The removal of a lot of inefficient code has also resulted in some speed improvement in many cases. I've discussed control painting in more detail here:
