Part of the problem seems to be that the documentation is inaccurate. Not only does the communication need to be over the loopback address, but the source port must be a "reserved" port, which is causing some confusion. I agree it is not a major issue. The presence of the .jar files add a bit of extra size, but again not too much. If it's too much trouble, I can live with it.
