Good news, we seem to have a workable build script from the most recent file release shmq-0.3 . . .
Even though the primary development environment is linux it seems to also build under solaris!
After a simple configure and make, we have
$ uname -srvmpi
SunOS 5.11 snv_67 i86pc i386 i86pc
$ file $(find . -name \*.so )
./.libs/libshmq.so: ELF 32-bit LSB dynamic lib 80386...

Beginning with version 0.0.3 we are adding autoconf support to the code base. Along with a few command line utilities, it should make experimentation a bit easier. This is in part due to the addition of a new project member, welcome lilbush!
