It should be possible to take a Visual Studio solution, import it in a Wascana+Visual C++ Toolkit installation, and get all files added to a project and all settings (especially include paths, defines, link settings etc) set up properly.
This would depend on managed build working with the Visual C++ toolchain, and would perhaps need some of the extensions to the Eclipse file system model that...

The proper mode for mkdir would be 0777 (it is up to the
user/shell to set a sensible umask to remove the unwanted
permissions).
While we're talking about directories: If the path is an
absolute path, the io_mkdir function incorrectly thinks the
first component is the empty string - which means that every
component in the path from root to the build path...
