On my amd64 platform, the tool produced invalid files with partially random content due to incorrect data types. This patch fixes this problem and applies some configure and Makefile fixes that makes the tool compile cleanly.
Tested on Debian 5.0 (amd64) and Debian Unstable (686).

The attached patch makes myDMS work even if PHP's safe-mode is enabled.
The patch assumes that $_contentDir exists and doesn't verify if this is really the case.

The license of the xmillum project has been changed in order to satisfy the requirements of a corporate partner funding the project. Further releases will be published under the GNU Lesser Public General License.
