This might be database "host" authentication configuration problem - when you're connection locally, and when you're connecting "through the network" (even to localhost) it uses different authentication - check to see if you can login with
"mysql -h localhost.localdomain -u root -p".

Hi,
Let me try and address your concerns -
* We are currently expanding our supported platforms - there are running betas with FreeBSD and Solaris (SPARC and x86), and we our upcoming releases provide full Windows support through local drives and iSCSI storage. We currently cannot support the "Shared Image" functionality with Windows due to the way Windows accesses its files.

Is the problem in the iSCSI related usage of the
"identifier" or lack of "help" in the user interface?.

The events.properties file contains old events that are
no longer triggered by the core engine.
It should be updated.

Can you implement the ocfs2 support as a plugin, or does it absolutely require the linuxrc changes?.

Most plugins do not require java or jsp - you use the xml
configuration to tell the framework where to find you html,
php, etc - the jsp example is just that - an example.
We'll post a PHP example soon.

When the network is partitioned into multiple physical networks or into multiple VLANs, the node and the DHCP server might be in different "networks" and the broadcast...

Currently the build process requires you to run as root.
While not ideal, this simplifies a lot of the steps involved
in the build - especially those the relate to creating an
initrd for the nodes to use.
Please try running the build as root and report if there are
still any problems.
Thanks!
