I am using Ubuntu dapper and tried to install Glimmr. After downloading some extra packages I was able to install Glimmr. But I am unable to use it. It crashes whenever I click on anything in Go menu. when I try to upload photos it gives me an error "Insufficient permissions method requires read privileges none granted".

No progress made on this request. Though PyUrduEdit is now able to save a user's font preference. You only have to do this once. Open an empty file in PyUrduEdit, change font to your prefered Urdu font, save file give it any name and exit PyUrduEdit. Now open up PyUrduEdit again and it will start with your previously used font.
I still think that we should find a way to make Nafees Web Naskh...

Since the Revision 14th I am now able to Select All using CTRL+A in both English and Urdu layouts. So the feature request is resolved and closed.

Yes when urdu layout is active this shortcut does not work.
But shortcut such as CTRL+C for copy works just fine. So I
guess its a bug. I think we should change the Urdu keyboard
layout in following way and see what happens:
Both ALT keys should work just like they work in English
keyboard layout and then we assign this shortcut ALT+ALT to
switch between...

I created a file and saved it on my desktop and then
closed the pyurduedit window. Which asked me if I want
to close the file without saving the changes. I clicked
no and saved the file again. and then attempted to exit
editor which once again asked me the same thing. This
time I ignored the message and quit editor. The file
was saved and I was able to open it in other editors as
well as...

here is how I run the file without changing settings in
nautilus.
First create a bash script. Open any text editor and enter
these lines and only these lines:
#!/bin/bash
cd /home/nom/pyurduedit
python ./PyUrduEdit.py
Now save the file as pue in your home directory.
Then create a custom application launcher for it where in
the command field...

The urduweb keyboard layout is available for download from

I am also attaching the file for download. Note that this
keyboard layout is used in xkb. The javascript based
UrduWebPad uses the same keyboard layout which could be seen
here...

I would like to see Cursor Blinking at the right hand
when the PyUrduEdit Starts.it should remain there when
