  • Comment: wiki.dbpedia.org sample query not working.

Same for the "People born in Berlin before 1900" example. In fact, I am about to give a presentation about DBpedia and most queries on the "Online Access" page don't work :-/ The SparQI example returns zero results. The Leipzig example says wikipedia.aksw.org domain not found. The SNORQL Berlin 1900 example returns zero results. The iSPARQL examples show an empty page.

  • Help button does not open any help page

In the "Manage dictionaries" window, the "Help" button does not seem to do anything. Idem in "Preferences". The man page does not help. Additional note: It would be nice if it could open some kind of help, since that this window's content is not straightforward, what does it mean to move a dictionary down ? Users wondering that and other things would be glad if the help button worked...

  • Comment: Input sometimes randomly stops working, with Qt and SCIM

Right now "echo $QT_IM_MODULE" says "xim". I will try using the application with both settings for comparison. It might not be very easy because the bug does not appear often. Thanks!

  • Comment: Input sometimes randomly stops working, with Qt and SCIM

Hello ryo-dairiki, thanks for your reply ! Ubuntu does not have any "SCIM-Bridge-Qt4" package. I already have scim-bridge-client-gtk installed, I will try to install scim-bridge-client-qt4 as well. Is that what you meant ? Please note that I do not use KDE4, just a Qt4 application in a Gnome environment. I am not really sure whether I use XIM or not, here is the result of "im-switch -l"...

  • Input sometimes randomly stops working, with Qt and SCIM

How to reproduce: 1) On Ubuntu (Gnome) 2008.04 or 2008.10 with SCIM, open Anki (ichi2.net/anki software, mihgt also work with Konqueror). 2) Start using it (open/close windows, type). 3) Randomly and rarely, after minutes or hours, it becomes impossible to input anything, as if the keyboard did not work anymore. The keyboard is fine though, as I can still use other applications and SCIM works...

  • Filter out references

Using http://dbpedia.org/snorql Vayu is a god of the wind. In the Wikipedia infobox, this fact has a reference. References are stated between and tags. Here is an excerpt from the infobox: | God_of = the wind The Book of Hindu Imagery p. 68 The problem is that dbpedia thinks Vayu is a god of the reference, too : SELECT ?topic WHERE {...

  • Add all RDF datastreams to triplestore

Fedora objects contain RDF triples. These triples are added to the configured triplestore by the addAllDatastreamTriples method of BaseTripleGenerator.java As of today, this method hard-codes "RELS-EXT" for addition to the triplestore. Why not add all of the Fedora object's semantic information to the triplestore ? I suggest modifying this method to add the triples contained by all da.

  • RELS-EXT's MIME type should be application/rdf+xml

My understanding is that the RELS-EXT datastream contains RDF data. The MIME type for RDF is application/rdf+xml as specified on http://www.w3.org/TR/rdf-syntax-grammar/#section-MIME-Type So why does Fedora create RELS-EXT datastreams with the text/xml MIME type ? I suggest using the application/rdf+xml MIME type for RELS-EXT datastreams. It would better describe the content. Any...

  • DOReader currently being used to *modify* DO

The DOReader.java interface is "for reading Fedora digital objects" according to the javadoc comment. However, it is being used to *modify* objects. See for example line 852 of DefaultManagement.java, which is: w.getAuditRecords().add(audit); I believe this is a violation of the DOReader contract. A solution would be for SimpleDOReader.getAuditRecords() to return copies instead of...
