I am also running mac os x. I am trying to install SuSE Linux 8.2 professional. When I format a DVD/CD Master with MS-DOS format, I try to boot it and get an error:
CDROM boot failure 0005
Boot from CD-Rom failed
Fatal: could not read the boot disk.

I am using MacOSX.
I just got bochs 2.0.2. Apparently, I always get an error
while booting:
[CD ] capacity: Failed to read toc
When I click continue, Bochs unexpectedly quits...

Hi! I just installed and configured Bochs(2.0.2), and I downloaded the NetBSD img and it worked. I am using Mac OS X, and when I configure Bochs to boot cd, and use my harddrive image I created with Bochs, I get an error when booting my SuSE Linux 8.2 Professional CD:

Then, in the actual screen that I would be emulating Linux in, it says:
