That sounds promising. BTW, if it tells you anything at all, EoB 2 also crashes exactly the same way with, as far as I can determine, the same basic problems. I'll go ahead and provide a log for it as well -- this one should be a little bit cleaner. I didn't realize so much would show up in the log just from me turning the screen off and back on...
