I was using "sc.cmd". I can't remember what the actual parameters that I used were, but I tried various combinations. ("sc.cmd --help" did produce the help output)
Your suggestion has worked, I will now try that approach.

schemacrawler 6.4 just hangs on my MS SQL 2005 database. I have turned logging on to verbose, but I do not get any output or log statements.

I had the same problem when the django src tree was symbolically linked from the site-packages directory. When I physically copied the django source tree to site-packages, code completion works.
