  • [bug report] Odd upload behavior

I see a very periodic and spikey upload performance, accompanied with many consecutive messages of complete and an upload amount for each of, say 528 KB, 135 KB, 1.56 MB, 23 KB, etc. etc.. This was the case when my u/l rate was set to something that may perhaps have exceeded my actual u/l capability. If I reduce the u/l rate then I don't see the spikey behavior but something that smooths out...

  • New/Updated File Notification

\New/Updated File Notification -- Problem -- The current WASTE application allows users to browse the permitted file system on another node. While useful, it quickly becomes unuseful for nodes that have up to hundreds of gigabytes or even a terabyte of files. Are you talking about the cryptography description? Not sure what you are referring to with the "<commas>", but these are cryptographic notations. The "+" indicates concatenation. 12. A sends B...

  • Followup: RE: Has the development halted?

As I see it, the main hindrance to advancement of the software is that the current software is built with VS 2002, v7.0 which is not available anymore. It is my understanding that it was only available for about 6 months. There have been attempts by programmers in our waste net to modify the code. These efforts produced a conversion of the GUI to MFC, some minor enhancements to chat. We have...
