I'm raising this bug to a priority 9 because I spent 1 hour in Deborah's office today trying to figure out why her re-install didn't work... to discover that this was the problem. :) Enchilada wouldn't restart because the database was not present (as far as SQL Server was concerned), but the files were out there. Deleting the files manually fixed the problem, but diagnosing it is tough!

Seems to work, as Tom suggested -- this must have been fixed sometime somewhere by someone.

Switching to ant would be just fine. FatJar is another classic example where we kept knocking in different directions until someone successfully got a jar file built.

I think we do want to provide the ability to modify underlying BinnedPeaks: certainly, the reason I posted this bug (I guess, it's been so long) is that multiple programmers certainly needed to do so.
Your fix sounds reasonable, off hand: I think one concern I'd have (without having thought about it at all) would be performance. Is there some reason why iterating repeatedly over a...

Agreed, I just had the same problem: "fink install crypt-ssleay-pm586" does not work. I had to work around it by finding the .51 tar file on a random website, dropping it locally, then updating my Perl mirror to look at that local spot. Can this bug be reopened?.

Art2A - Yes, with similar choice for choosing normalization or not. (We've got some kind of advanced option for this, right?)
BIRCH is long dead, as far as Enchilada is concerned, so any comments related to BIRCH can come out even. I'm sure there's zombie code somewhere in there relating to BIRCH, but we've abandoned it.

I skimmed the code, and it looks darned reasonable to me. Should we close this bug, then?.
