I've managed to persuade TNT Basic to compile as a Universal Binary under XCode. It's still very broken in terms of functionality and it's not exactly *usable* yet, but it's a start and things will only get better from here in. Mac resource files vs cvs is a pain. I had to figure this out when open sourcing my PowerPlant based project, TNT Basic, here on sourceforge.net.
