I'll try to add OSS support for the next release.
Instead adding the ogg vorbis codec will be a bit more complicated, but I'll think about it.

Hello,
thank you for writing. Unfortunately it's not possible
to compile IHU without QT, because it uses many useful
objects and signaling system from that library.
Anyway I suggest you to download the static binary that
contains all the necessary to run IHU even if you don't
have QT installed and X11 running.

Thank you very much for your contribute to IHU.
I took the hint to rewrite entirely the Config class and make
it better in the 0.6.0 version that will be soon released.
QSettings won't be used anymore, the config file will be written
in XML format, and it's possible to save a config file from the Settings.
And of course it's possible to choose the config file at startup ;-)

Actually now IHU saves the last 10 address used (in the
Receiver address list).
But I'm planning to add a kind of addressbook, or other
solutions.
