I don't know if that is the same problem, but when I try to open Last.fm there comes a 2nd window. But there should be only one.
myLast.FM needs to check if there is already a process of it, except the debug-flag is set.

The player seems to do not cache enought. The stream always has a lot of jitter. Hopefully you can correct that problem till the Release Candidate.

I've tried your Player on Windows Vista B2, and it wants to have write Access to the Program's-Folder, which it won't get from the OS or from me. Instead the Program needs to use the Registry-Key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\myLastFM\
or the directory
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\myLastFM\
instead.

I think that being able to create networks should be the regular - think on a way to create an RDF based toc file for Websites witch describes and summaries all of the link functionality of <link rel="..." href="..." /> elements.
I don't know about the RDF syntax (so excuse the pseudocode) but it should be able to provide somthing like:
