Great Work! But please reconsider the double click priority - this is the one thing that would prevent me from changing from rxvt (cygwin) to this console. I usually have about 30+ terminal windows open and this is a godsend...but double/triple click is as important to me as tabs (which I greatly appreciate). I notice I double click in firefox as well for the same behavior.
