I have the same camera, and when connected macam reports "Connected to ZS221" but all I get is a blank view panel.
It doesn't matter what port I connect it to or what else is connected to the machine (MacbookPro with 10.5.7) at the time - just black.
The camera will work correctly on my Netbook (ASUS 1000HE) running Ubuntu 9.04.

Installed version 1.0.1 on Mac OS X 10.4.10 and configuration dialogs do not display correctly, as per the attached screenshot.

You are quite correct, Morgan, it's never happened to me. But having had hypocrites at my former place of employment (a Catholic University) take credit for my hard work gives me some understanding, albeit minor, of the impact it must have had on you.

I just checked on eBay (auction # 270065880344, closing in January 07) and this bastard is still at it !! I have reported him to eBay, but I think a good way of canning his activities could be for everyone to register a fake eBay account and then bid ridiculous amounts for the software. He would have no chance of collecting. Childish, probably - effective, most definately !

I'll try to explain this as simply as I can - my wife understood what I meant..:-)
Let's say I'm watching an item that has 5 days to go, and is currently at $500. Now, there's no way of knowing what proxy bids are in place, so if I set a snipe of (for example) $650 it may still be below the highest bid as displayed or the proxy for that bid.
What I'd like to be able to do is to set a snipe...

I think a switch of sorts could be good for the program, and I'd definately go after the ass that stole it in the courts unless he pays the author every cent he made from it.
One option could be a dual-licenced version. One, that is open source, that contains pretty much the functionality in version 1.0 or slightly before. Everything else is in a licenced version, for a minimal fee...

agree it caters to the widest audience, but please also give

This is a function that used to exist in another
auction site, sold.com.au, some time ago.
Basically they provided a link which allowed you to add
a reminder to iCal with an alarm set for (I think) an
hour before the auction ended.
Having jbidwatcher able to do this (with a configurable
alarm time) would allow those of us who sync with PDAs
to always keep an "eye" on what is happening,

When updating FinkCommander questions (tarball location, etc) do
not always result in the interaction dialog being displayed.
