Actually the bin and obj folders are present. I excluded them from the .zip archive because I assume they are generated each time I build the project (just like Visual Studio does). Hmm, I reloaded and tried running the project. Seems I shouldn't have deleted the bin and obj folders.<grin> Crashes Eclipse every time. Think I will delete my workspace and try again from scratch...

Ah, answered by own question. From the Chiron page on Codeplex: "Chiron produces Silverlight application packages (XAPs) for applications using Dynamic Language Runtime (DLR) based languages." "The main usage of Chiron is to run it as a localhost web-server, and Chiron will automates the XAP file creation with every web-request."...

  • Chiron?

Out of curiosity, what is Chiron? I noticed it is used to serve up the test page when I run a Silverlight project from eclipse4SL. Thanks, -KIRBY.

  • .xap not downloaded/displayed

I was excited to learn about the eclipse4SL preview for Mac OS X. I wasted no time installing it, which was a snap. I created a sample "hello world" Silverlight project (not a Silverlight web project). I run the project, the test page loads in the browser window (Firefox), and that's it. The .xap is never downloaded or displayed. I've seen this same behavior when hosting the...

Line 55 in the file components/DirectoryLister.cs is where I believe the modification is needed. The change would be to use a different directory as the root to the photo albums. The code currently uses ".\" which is the root directory for the PhotoRoom app. http://is.gd/cxhE Hope that helps. -KIRBY.

It can definitely be changed in code though I don't remember where. It's been ages since I last looked at the code.
