  • Comment: TBTray launches Thunderbird automatically with Windows start

I have worked around the problem by setting all events to "Do nothing" and manually copying the TB Tray shortcut link to the Windows Start Menu "Startup" folder so TB Tray starts with Windows.

  • Comment: TBTray launches Thunderbird automatically with Windows start

Reply to "nobody": No I do not want Thunderbird to start, I want TB Tray to start with Windows without launching Thunderbird but it currently does launch Thunderbird when the settings I provide above should not do this.

  • TBTray launches Thunderbird automatically with Windows start

My desire is to have TB Tray start automatically with Windows but not to launch Thunderbird until I do it manually. Currently, the TB Tray event settings are configured as I want them as follows: 1) On TB-Tray start - Do nothing. 2) On TB-Tray exit - Do nothing. 3) On Thunderbird exit - Do nothing. 4) On Windows start - Start TB-Tray However, when TB Tray starts with Windows it...

  • Followup: RE: what about Linux ?

Personally, I doubt it will be developed for Linux — StarUML has not been updated in 3 years and several people have tried to contact a few of the project admins and received no responses. It's a shame as I really like it too. You might wish to start trying out a few other UML tools that are available for both Windows and GNU/Linux which you can start using now on Windows in preparation for...

  • Followup: RE: failed to load main-class manifest attrib

I think the user tried to run the file as a standalone application rather than as an Eclipse plug-in. It is not really clear to most people how to use this application so perhaps it could be briefly explained in the project summary? Thanks.

  • Followup: RE: Is this an active project?

Many would like it to be. However, it appears that a few attempts to contact the project developers have failed to obtain a reply. You can try yourself if you wish.

  • Followup: RE: Project Roadmap & Other

StarUML is an excellent program and it would be a shame to let it die. As people have attempted to contact the developers previously and we appear to have not heard anything from them, I suggest we email the the development team one final time and let them know that we would like this project to continue development and if we do not hear anything in a pre-determined period of time we will...

  • Issue concerning inserting null Timestamps

A Timestamp normally requires quotes around it as it has a space. However, my JDBC app needs to be able to insert a Timestamp that can be either a null or non-null. When null, the quotes around the Timestamp, I imagine, results in attempting to insert 'null' (with quotes) which is of course not a valid Timestamp (null must be inserted without quotes). It seems a bit fiddly to have to keep...

  • Followup: RE: An external HSQLDB with OpenOffice 2.0 be

Thanks. The How-to guides I had read and followed but the issue was actually that in OOo for the connection string you were not meant to enter the jdbc part of the string jdbc:hsqldb:<etc> as OOo automatically prepends it. This fact was not mentioned in the OO docs, however! >:-( Hopefully anyone looking here with the same problem will be helped by reading this post :-) Mark.
