  • Can't choose resolution

Hi, I have an old HP 4200C flatbed scanner, which only works properly in 150dpi mode, because anything higher means the scanner needs to backtrack, which triggers driver problems. Unfortunately, the openDIAS scanning dialog doesn't let me choose the resolution. I have narrowed this down to the way that openDIAS interprets the options it gets back from SANE. Please see the attached...

  • Getting started with opendias (take 2)

I intended to create a second thread titled "Getting started with opendias", but SourceForge decided to add it to the end of my first thread. The link to second thread is: https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=6524922 Sorry for the confusion!

  • Followup: Getting started with opendias

Hello, I am having some problems getting started with opendias. For example, on my system, I don't have the speak libs installed. Configure says that's ok, but the code won't compile. (I've worked around it for the moment by adding #ifdef CAN_SPEAK/#endif around readTextParser). As well as the db init problem, I'm also having some other run-time errors. (Just to note that xsane works...

  • Initial creation of database

Hi, I am trying to use opendias for the first time. When I start opendias, I get messages such as "The following SQL gave an error: SELECT tags.tagid, tagname, COUNT(dt.docid) cnt from TAGS, (SELECT * FROM doc_tags ) dt, (SELECT DISTINCT docs.* FROM docs, doc_tags WHERE doc_tags.docid = docs.docid) d WHERE tags.tagid.dt.tagid AND dt.docid = d.docid GROUP BY tagname ORDER BY cnt DESC...

  • linuxsh-devel-news list: please terminate

Hello, I'm the mailing list administrator for the long-defunct linuxsh-devel-news mailing list. This particular mailing list hasn't been used in years, but due to spammers, I'm still getting admin emails. Can you please close this list, and/or remove my name from the admin role? The Linux-on-SuperH (linuxsh) project is still going strong (I'm not a member). Late last year they decided...

  • Personal document storage system

Hello, I have a problem. I don't like to throw out anything that may have information I'll need in the future, such as bills, receipts, letters, and so on. So my house has many piles of paper around, just in case I need them. And when I do, I still can't find anything! What I have dreamed about is a system where I can scan any docs that come into my house, add a few tags, then throw...

  • Comment: Wiki pages readonly because wiki thinks I'm not logged in

The problem has gone away and I can edit wiki pages again. Nothing changed at my end, maybe a transient wiki authentication problem at SF.net Thank you for your help.

  • Wiki pages readonly because wiki thinks I'm not logged in

Hello, I am trying to edit pages I created yesterday on my project wiki. But all pages are "protected", because the wiki page (and only the wiki page) thinks I'm not logged in. The project is called "chutor". How to reproduce: Let's say I log into SF, then go to my project page: http://www.sourceforge.net/projects/chutor The banner says, "Welcome, mjd" because I'm logged in.
