Today I had a smoke in a pub and looked at a glass, and I
thought of rendering it... I am just one of the guys who
love to create their own pictures... I've worked with 3DS
Max before, but I remembered I had found a program called
moonlight, that I could use for this glass.. the project has
been abandoned, and I thought there must be persons out
there who are interested in continuing this...

somebody requested http or socks5 proxy support... http
support is already integrated, however it does not work for
me... don't know why, but what I know is that I've had a
running icq on the_bad_os using socks5 support... would be
great if kxicq2 would support that in the near future, since
many who work in a lan would appreciate this option.. and me
too because ol' windows is no more.....

I've a question about the proxy functionality of kxicq2... in the options there is a setting for http proxies... can you get icq working over http... i am asking because i can't ;-(
when i used TheOtherOS (long long ago) i always got my icq working over a socks proxy...
my http proxy works correctly, because i am able to view web sites, but kxicq2 crashes when attempting to connect.....

Well, this sure is a very newbieish question, but where are the user specific configuration files for kxicq located...
Using KDE 3.0 on SuSE 7.3...
Installed with the RPM's which are linked from kxicq.org..

I see, but a person who wants to unmount a cd should be
intelligent enough to press the stop button... but i think
most xmms users are listening to mp3's... anyway, if this
is a problem you could add a little checkbox to enable or
disable this feature in the option box... but I don't want
to tell you how you should create your program, it was just
an...

when I clear my playlist to load another one the song
which is currently playing stops... it would be cool
to continue on playing while the user adds songs to a
new playlist..

i think it is already possible... go to preferences -->
input plugins --> choose the mpgdecoder plugin and browse
its options... there should be a tab somewhere which
says "streaming"... there you can adjust these settings...
but im not sure... ;-)

i just got my nomad two weeks ago, and i hope someone is able to code an application so that i don't always have to switch to "that other OS". unfortunately i am not able to code myself, but if you you someday need german translations for helpfiles, just tell me ;-)

i have a problem with cddb when using grip. i am behind a nework firewall, and my httpproxy is 192.168.1.2:8080
using these settings in xripper works, but grip either crashes or keep blinking with his little nework symbol... plz help

yes, checksums, disc id's & stuff would be nice...

but i think somewhere in the id3 tag the word grip should
