Is there a way to move a file from one package/release to another one without re-uploading it?
ie: I have some files that were in a 3.05B release that were not part of the 3.05C release so these files are now "hidden" (you can't see them without opening the 3.05b release) I wanted to create another package specifically for these files so people can still find them easily.
ie: I created a...

In order to build the current generation plugins you have to have the Maya or Max SDK installed on your system. This is something you can download from the Autodesk website. This would be where Max.h and the environment variables you are missing come from.
I expect the "next generation" plugins have the same requirements.
Because of the way Autodesk's SDKs are setup...

All the compile targets must be maintained so we can make releases. Please update the Linux, Mac and MinGW targets. Sony will handle the PS3.

The current Mac/OSX installer is a very short shell script which many people have had trouble using. This needs to be improved so it will work correctly and install the right versions of the plugins for whatever versions of Mac Maya are installed.
Ideally, a standard Mac installer should be created to replace the shell script.

Builds need to be done for Max and Maya 2009 users and the installers updated to support them.
Currently these users need to build the plugins by hand which is not acceptable.

Hi,
Sorry for the delay in responding to this. While I'm not an expert on the way FCollada interprets URIs, it looks like the problem you are having is because your file://C:\example.jpg is not a legal URI. In COLLADA documents all file references must be specified as URIs. A URI is not the same as a windows path!
In particular, a URI can not contain a backslash or...

The 3.05b versions of the plugins can be built for 64 bit windows but these are not supported by the installer.
64 bit builds of all the windows plugins should be prepared and the installer updated to install them.
