Hi Rolf, you're right, w6 will be again java 1.4 compatible. This version is currently in cvs head, so a fresh checkout is enough. For compiling just do ant. If you have any issues with the build process let us know. We'll be glad to help you.

When exception is thrown:
com.germinus.easyconf.ConfigurationNotFoundException: Error reading configuration for lbtr: The base properties file was not found
it's not entirely clear which file is misssin (also happens when missing global-properties).
It'd be easier for newbies to know which property file is being searched, and not found, to have the filename searched in the message, as...

It's be very nice to have a download with libs included, since std download does not provide them (nor pom) it is almost useless. you have to download separatedly libs or source and then run maven.
I think it'll make life easier to users.
