The way I resolved this was to comment out the area that was giving me the problem. It appears that section is only used for backward compatability, so probably shouldn't affect anything. Hope this helps.

I'm using swatch to monitor a log file and email me when it's written to. However, the swatch process errors and closes after the 1st email is sent. The error is:

I understand about the relative or absolute limitation, but I'm still having a problems with the setup of the Objective. So, in the 'Search Term' field, I enter ^/path/to/dir/.*$ but what do I enter into the field above it, the 'Event ID Search Term'? When I modify the rule and enter the Search Term and apply the changes, nothing takes. It just gets reset to what it was previously. Thanks...
