Instead of forcing users to modify the .py file itself, which may get overwritten on upgrades, please allow the script to accept
-page for the page to clean
-summary for the edit summary
-text for the text to replace with.

I'm not sure that's true. It waits a minimum of 5 minutes after the most recent edit (I suppose to make sure they are done editing before erasing their work.)

There is a difference between five minutes and zero minutes. -delay:0 needs to be possible.

Please provide a minimal example config file so users who want to simply get up and running ASAP don't have to wade through irrelevant settings in config.py (which should really be called default_config.py) or search on Meta for documentation. Proposed patch to follow.

Please replace all instances of the Wikipedia namespace (including localized versions!) with Project: so it will work on non-Wikipedia projects.
For example, when trying to work on enwikibooks, clean_sandbox.py tries to clean [[:b:en:Wikipedia:Sandbox]], which is really [[:w:en:Sandbox]]!
Patch will follow.

Please provide an option to force the edit *right now* - useful for testing purposes, or when you just want to clean the goddamned sandbox instead of "sleeping for 15 minutes"

This is a bug with a script, not with XChat. Please contact the script's maintainer.

Agreed - this needs to be changed to match every other piece of sane software in the entire universe.
