I put in a maven upload request a month or two ago when 5.0 was released, but for some reason there hasnt been any activity on it.

I havent seen any activity on the maven upload request ticket. Usually it only takes a few days, so not sure what is going on with it. I'll ask for an update on the ticket and see what happens.

I believe I resolved the jar issue and uploaded the new ones last night. Alan, can you take a look and see if it looks better? Thanks again for the heads up on this one.

Thanks for the heads up on the dozer 5.0 jar distro. For some reason(and unintentional), some of the test resources are still getting included in the distrib jar. I think I have tracked it down some pom changes in the 4.4 release. Those changes were just upgrading some of the mvn plugin versions to the latest, but there must be some new behavior in one of those((or in combination...

I implemented this no problem in my local dev environment and all regression tests ran green. Because proxies can be tricky, I decided to wait until 5.1 to release to production if all the testing goes ok.
