Here's my attempt to keep back X11 xmp frontend (xxmp). The code was taken from 2.0.5, adopted to 2.5.1 and seems to work :)

One of mjpegtools shell script (lavtc.sh) has an error: unmatched bracked. Here's the patch fixing this issue.

In the dialog for choosing audio device the file template is "*.*" For Unix-like systems this is unusable since the device names don't have extentions. I propose a simple patch changing the template to "*".

The compilation of CheeseTracker fails if no audiofile library (with headres) is installed in the build environment. Although audiofile is optional, its presence is not required during the pre-compilaion check. The diagnostics is following:
g++ -o cheesetracker/program__QT/cheesetracker_qt cheesetracker/program__QT/cheesetracker_qt.o cheesetracker/interface__QT/libinterface_qt.a...

liborigin installs at some 64 bit system in a wrong way: make install places library at /usr/lib instead of /usr/lib64.
