yeah, it actually freezes rather than hangs (theres no beachball) after i draw a line (or highlight). Is there any other info i can provide that might help you pin it down? Or any idea what might be causing the problem, if it is not on the program's side? thanks.

Sometimes hangs for about 30s to a few minutes while using the freehand drawing tool or highlighting. Snow Leopard, latest Skim version. Sample included.
