My kat daemon indexing has been indexing for about 25
minutes now and is at 14% (820 files done, ~5800 to
go). Some of the time, it estimates a remaining time
in minutes (typically an unlikely low number, like 5
minutes), sometimes it registers over 49000 days (!).
It seems that the estimation calculation is confused
somehow!

I'm forwarding Kat 0.6.2 over SSH X-forwarding to an
Exceed X server running on Windows. Due to (seemingly)
some font weirdness, the first Window of the First Run
wizard doesn't fit all the text: it just finishes mid
sentence. Resizing the window fixes the problem.
Can you make the window auto-size to cope with
different text sizes?.

Themes appear (as of RC1) at the top of the window stacking
order when I first add them to the desktop, rather than being
hidden behind any windows that should obscure them.

The demo CD on the website is very out of date. I'd strongly recommend doing a proper install of Xen if you want to try it out - it's relatively painless.
We're working on a new demo CD.

Same problem with CVS version :-(
Am I doing something invalid in my code? Where should I look in the source to hunt down what's happening? Does anyone else see this?
