Some video drivers have an option in the video driver setup to turn on and off a "hardware mouse" option. If you can find this, try changing the setting and see if that makes a difference. M.

No need to enter orbital elements manually. Use the solar system editor: Config Dialog (F2) -> plugins tab -> Select "Solar system editor". Where did you save your script? Please state the full path. he script bar is a feature of the 0.9.x series of Stellarium which no longer exists. There is the "script console", is that what you mean? I'm not just being pedantic... I want to know if you're using an antiquated version of the program. By the way, which version of Stellarium are you running? M.

It seems that the F12 keypress event is getting intercepted by your operating system before it gets sent to Stellarium. Understanding your own computer's configuration is up to you. I suggest doing some googling. I don't actually have a mac, so there's not a lot else I can do to help.

This thread is nearly 5 years old... the "script bar" no longer exists. It evolved into the "script console", which is opened using F12. Did you mean to post to this thread: https://sourceforge.net/projects/stellarium/forums/forum/278769/topic/5190529.

What Barry said, also, Shift+PageUp and Shift+PageDown make it go slower. For the script, you can hit F12 to open the script console and then type in this (example for 15 degrees field of view): StelMovementMgr.zoomTo(15); Hit control+return or click the run button to execute the command. M.

Does it help if you put the cursor in the 30 and then click the up spinbox?.
