  • Comment: GCC 4.4 testsuite failures

I couldn't figure out a way of attaching a file here, so my patch that implements joekrahn's suggestion in comment 6 is at http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/~matthew/flex-2.5.35-gcc44-1.patch. It now passes 'make check' under GCC-4.4.0.

  • Followup: RE: Modelling future configuration states

Hi Niklaus, Many thanks for your quick response! I've raised Feature Request 2762045 for the Change Log issue. Regarding the Planning CMDB suggestion, that sounds like it would work well for our needs; I didn't think of using a OneCMDB instance as a data repository for another OneCMDB instance...neat! :-) Thanks again, Matt.

  • Change Log improvement

As mentioned in https://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?thread_id=3208222&forum_id=607849 the Change Log currently lists what was done to a particular CI, when, and by whom. It would be nice if one could put a reason why a change was made e.g. "Implementation of Change Request x". Thanks, Matt.

  • Modelling future configuration states

Hi, I've been using oneCMDB for a couple of days now and it seems very promising. Although oneCMDB looks ideal from a "here's what our current configuration looks like" perspective, one feature I would like to see is it being able to answer questions like "what will our configuration look like in x months time, after change requests x, y and z have been implemented?"...
