  • Followup: RE: Why acknowledged reminders pop up again?

I experience the same problem, using Sunbird 0.9, GCal v1.0 beta16, on a Fedora 7 system syncing with Google Calendar. Any luck with a workaround? --martygilbert.

  • Followup: RE: Problem with LDAP and Active Directory

Hi Glenn -- The distribution I have i had to decompile (using jad) a file called Authenticator.class, and force the method setSubtreeSearch() to always return true....at least that's what I remember. I've long since abandoned it and the latest download doesn't seem to be the same code that I downloaded, even though the date on the archive implies that it should be the same. I've long...

I'm curious if this project is being updated, as well. I use the CurrentTrack plugin, but haven't found a replacement for the "Fortune Cookie" piece of AutoProfile and I miss it SEVERLY! :) Just a post stating if this project is 'dead' or not would be great. --Marty.

SOLVED. I actually had to manually to into the LDAP code, and change the default flag to tell it to always search the entire subtree. Recompiled, redeployed, and it works like a champ. Almost. Still getting some exceptions about the deep-copy thing, but it appears to work with no ill effects, so I'm happy. Just posting in case anyone else ever runs into this problem... --Marty.

  • Followup: RE: Problem with LDAP and Active Directory

Followup to my earlier post: I now think I know the problem. The LDAP connector is not searching the entire AD subtree. If I add a specific "ou", then it will authenticate everyone from that "ou", but our AD tree is strange, and we have many, many needed "ou"'s. Is there any way to force it to look at the subtree? If not, is there any way to add more...

  • Problem with LDAP and Active Directory

Trying to get VTSurvey working with Active Directory. I don't know much about AD, but I'm trying to debug a problem I'm having. I get "DEBUG Could not continue with deep copy". Our AD tree is huge and confusing; I wouldn't have organized it the way it is, but I'm not the NetAdmin, either. Is this trying to perform a look up and running out of space traversing the AD Tree?...

This describes the problem I had perfectly. The above should by a perfect remedy. --marty.

  • Potential Problem for 2004 Team Entry

Just a note to those out there who are using this program for the 2004 Tourney... Because the committe has gone away from naming each division by region, this has caused a potential problem with the software. DO NOT ENTER A SPACE IN YOUR DIVISION NAME IN tourney_tracker.inc (such as "E. Rutherford" or "St. Lous") If you do this, only the teams from one word...
