Have updated patch to use the strftime function so that the
output is in the form specified in $gallery->app->dateString
At the moment, it displays date format, and not time/date
format.
date format suits me fine, but i an imagine that some people
may want time/date format. I could create another setting
that allows people to print the dateTimeString...

I would most definately like to see this added as a separate
feature. I have had a patch similar to this for a long time.
Mine also allows the user to enable/disable viewing the
captureDate per album. It allows a system wide default which
is off.

I have created a patch which allows the capture date of
a photo to be be displayed below the thumbnail in album
view.
It an be enabled/disabled from
properties(edit_appearance) per album
It defaults to off per album. (config_data.inc)

There does not seem to be much activity at the moment with this project. Its a shame. Its a good plug-in. Perhaps with the release of the new seti (boinc) version, this applet will get some more attention.

There is a syntax error on line 100 with an unexpected
inverted comma (")
Strangely, this inverted comma is not actually in Andrew

The patch enables the album to show the capture date

A new field in album has been added to allow this option.
The option has been added to setup/config_data.inc to
enable global changes.
The option has been added to edit_appearance.php to
enable per album changes.
Version numbers have been bumped to reflect the
changes.
