Using Firefox 3.5.2 under Win XP SP 3, using multiple lines with only italicised data usign slashes as
/italics/
/more italics/
/even more italics/
/yet more italics/
will italicise only the odd lines, printing literal slashes for the the others (i.e. "italics" and "even more italics" would be in italics, but "more italics" and "yet more italics" would be written with delimiting / /...
