seems that yahoo file transfers seem to not work with the new protocol implementation. has this been filed as a bug report?.

old version 2.5.3 started working for me today i changed nothing.
a few hours ago i updated to 2.5.4 and its still working fine.

ok i just upgraded to 2.5.4 and now the following no longer works:
"C:\Program Files\Pidgin\pidgin.exe" -c "D:\Pidgin"
was this feature changed/ removed?.

i can't quite remember when this feature was removed but it was quite recent. basically the dropdown in the message window where you can select which account you are sending the message from. not sure what happened with that?
an example i encountered today - i clicked a link on a webpage that said 'send im' so it then asks me to select pidgin and then a message window pops up to send to that...

yeah same problem for me. perhaps an msn server issue maybe im not sure. lets hope its ok tomorrow.

you can always try accessing via a proxy server (as you might be experiencing local problems) such as:
