Since I've had a few people posting, I've decided to post questions and responses on the dev mailing list. I've just put up a first post explaining how to check out and get started. Anybody intrested should join the irate dev mailing list and we will go through things there.

Thanks for offering to help out!
There is not much doc, but I should be able to point you in right direction for anything you want to change. I guess the very first step is to download the code from subversion and compile it. Sourceforge should have some info on how to access the subversion repository. Have you do much java development before?

Unfortunately what free time I have has been taken up by my son and online business. It seems that reciently there have been some ongoing problems with the server that I have been unable to resolve.

Hey,
The domain names irateradio.com, .org and .net will shortly be expiring. Once they go down people will no longer be able to contact the server. I have placed the project in unmaintained status in the hopes that somebody will pick it back up.
