actually the reason I gave you that is because the change to make it do what you want is very simple. :)
http://lwsitu.com/xchat/whois_query.pl will send a whois when ever you /query someone
As you can see in the diff below it's only 4 lines of change and only 2 are really significant.

This can be done with a script. I have one at http://xchat.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/xchat/xchat2/plugins/perl/char_count.pl?view=markup . Written for someone who needed it for the same reason as you. :)
