I too would like more permissions added, specifically the ability to hide/deny access to directories within the root. For instance, my install of extplorer is under the root of my domain and while I would like my user (not admin) to be able to load their website under root I don't want them to be able to modify my extplorer install.
Thanks.

I'd like to hide the extplorer directory from the user and only make it visible to the admin. This is on a standalone install, Apache 2, php5 on Windows 2003.

When you do get this working for admin or specific users only I'd be extremely interested as well. Thanks for posting.

I had the same problem. It happened to me after I unzipped the scripts folder. When I unzipped it I unzipped it to /scripts not realizing that when unzipped it creates a /scripts folder. So I had /scripts/scripts and fixed by moving the files in the second scripts folder into the first and it worked. Oh, and I removed the empty scripts folder.

* CVE-2006-6376: Multiple directory traversal vulnerabilities in fm.php in Simple File Manager (SFM) 0.24a allow remote attackers to use .. sequences to (1) read arbitrary files via the filename parameter in a download action, (2) delete arbitrary files via the delete parameter, and (3) modify arbitrary files via the edit parameter, which can be leveraged to execute arbitrary code.
