Hello everyone.
First of all, I really enjoy the new alpha version, nice work quentin :)
While doing so, the missing ability to play streams somehow bugged me.
Please excuse me if I'm asking some question which already has been answered, but what about online-radios? I would love to be able to switch between streams and local media, from within webkit/mozembed. I use to browse my last.fm...

Hi all.
I received some messages and finally took it up and rewrote the script. It uses the script quentin posted to get some formatted dbus output and simply reformats it so it becomes more usable with conky.
Time expression reused (works, or did someone encounter bugs?) Doesn't depend on the NowPlaying plugin anymore...
Please let me know if you like it / find serious bugs...

Bump*
Or could you point me to the file it's configured in? I'll figure it out then I think.
This would be really nice as I found a pretty simple script for last.fm, proxy fm or so. Sets up a browserinterface with simple controls for last.fm streams 8)
Thanks.

Are you still having that issue?
Actually I just built a package under my build chroot and it seems to work fine for me so far. Been using mozembed, but I dislike mozilla ever since, so I decided to go with webkit. And I like it 8) acid3 gives 100/100.
However, I didn't use CPAN but built it locally using dh-make-perl. If you wanna give it a try, get the sources...

This is all related to the, how I find, rather annoying changes in Xorgs x-server...
As many users are still scared of coming a console closer than 3 meters, the guys on Xorg put their effort in deprecating the xorg.conf.
For display (OUTPUT) devices this is rather difficult. Basically thats what we have a X server for at all. Binding INPUT-devices, such as mice, joysticks, scanner, cams...
