This is not a bug. It's a misuse of the API. Everybody is welcome to improve the documentation !

All ClientMeta commands are ICQ-specific. Unlike AIM, user ID has to be a number (the UIN). Moreover i see you don't have the latest sources. I recommend downloading the latest sources from CVS. I hope this helps. Regards.

It seems the buddy name is taken instead of buddy UIN. I suppose the buddy name is passed to method searchByUinTlv.
