I am totaly agreed with you...
In theory you're right. But in practice on large project,
you cannot be sure of this & that averybody is applying
rules/requierements. You can have for some unknown reasons,
the -listener option propgatation broken :( for example, a
gnu make calling a script (.sh) & then a new NAnt instance.
Having the capability to fix/force...

To sume up in a fiew line my previous comment :
As you will understand, this is in a build machine/factory
environment fetching developers jobs & I cannot control
all NAnt invocations & developers make modifications are
totaly forbidden.. This why I need a way to enable
automatically some options like the listener one for all
NAnt instances on the build...

To be more clear, let's me explain my needs, it could be
more easier to undestand.
It is because I need a listener option to be propagated to
all NAnt instances even when NAnt is not called directly
from the shell but from (for example) a gnu makefile(so
NAnt called by GNU Make). I have lot of NAnt projects

Hello, I am currently working on a project which
needs a NAnt/CSharp listener to be loaded for all
NAnt instances.
Sometimes because my NAnt instance is called from
another program (like nmake for example), I need to
define some options by default (like "-listener" for
example).
Because this is urgent for me, I downloaded the code
& modified it myself to add this new feature...
