Teresa, No joy for me. It connects to the server. It won't start live TV. When I go to recorded programs, it shows 1 of 12 shows and that one plays very choppy. I will turn on debug mode and collect some logs and post back.

I guess you are right. Mythbuntu is still running .21. I don't plan to upgrade beyond that until there is a solution for the xbox. I am about to unload my xboxen in favor of native myth on an appletv. The only downside so far is the loss of the built-in DVD. But it is a lot quieter, takes up less space and gets me out of the compatibility situation.

If you can't get either to work I expect you have some other problem. While they have not been packaging new releases, someone has been updating the scripts each time there is an upgrade to mythtv. You need to download the updated scripts from the CVS. If you haven't already done it, I suggest you turn on debug mode and check the log. I expect that we point out the problem.

I have 1GB of memory. That seems to be the problem. It runs fine on my machine with 8GB. I didn't try the eclipse framework as it was not a dependency. Will installing it confine mtb to the available memory?.

  • Requirements under Jaunty

When I try and run mytourbook I get a load of errors. If run from the command line I get the following: lingenfr@U100-UBU:~/Desktop/mytourbook$ ./mytourbook Error occurred during initialization of VM Could not reserve enough space for object heap and then a pop up that says: JVM terminated. • No Play and Skip

I have one machine that will not show the Play and Skip option on recordings. The commercials are flagged and the option shows up on my other machine. Anyone know what is wrong?.

Morten, Sorry I didn't read the post more thoroughly. You might want to try and post over on the XBMC forums. I don't recognize the ./test folder as being one associated with this script.

The development is more active than the forum would suggest. The current version in the CVS is compatible with the latest mythtv release. The XBMC native version is still FAR behind this script in terms of capability, particularly the guide. Also, for me, I get stuttering in live TV. Much less that months ago, but still much more frequently than this script. Development in the XBMC native is...

  • Any instructions for 64-bit?

I tried getting this to compile on 2.6.27-9-generic 64-bit, but no joy. Is there a way to make this work? I had it working on the 32-bit within the past few months. It is a great app and I would like to get it working. Thanks.
